That night God allowed me to join him in the moment of creation. He handed me a small lantern and said Child, lift it to the skies.
So, I starred in amazement at how magnificent it was, but it started lifting up. It had a journey in store, but I wasn’t ready to let go. I stood on my tippy toes with my arms stretched high as I lifted this little lantern into the sky. As my fingers let loose it slowly worked its way up, and I had to say my goodbyes. Then within moments it had joined other lanterns on their journey to the skies. As we watched the lanterns meander through the atmosphere they became distant lights that joined the stars.
To imagine that moment of creation when God let loose the stars to the darkness, and the universe became the night sky upon which we gaze.
Genesis 1:14-18
(17) God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth.
Thinking tree:
How does God speak to you through his creation?
This post is for you grandma! I will find a way for us to do this in the states, and have a Tangeled moment together!
