I am soooo excited to share the news that I am leading a trip for 14 to 18 year olds to Nicaragua, leaving next weekend. Our ministry will be to pour into the lives of those around us, and to come along side our ministry contacts that are in the country (much like the word race). This will include outreach to families at a local dump, a feeding program, sports ministry, building relationships with local children, and construction.The difference for me this time is that my ministry will also be to love, pour into, care for, coordinate details, and guide the participants of the trip; in order to make their ministry as effective and meaningful as possible.
I went on the world race because I had grown in my knowledge of God’s word and love and I wanted to share it with others. I had been poured into and was ready to spread what I knew/ and still know to be true. I believe that God’s word is true and His love is perfect. I believe that He is above all, over all, and in all. I want my life to glorify Him and to make Him known.. I want others to know Him.. To have the same comfort, hope, encouragement, and love that I have found in Him.
I could not be more excited for this opportunity. Please be praying for our team.

*That God would lead us and that we have open hearts and open ears.
*That we live in the present moment and trust the Spirits leading.
*Protection and safety
*That God will break down all barriers
*That God will prepare the hearts of our team, and those we come into contact with in Nicaragua.
*That lives change and people come to know Him because we are there to spread His love.
*That we make relationships and friendships easily.
*That our high school students will grow in their walks with God.
*That God’s will is done
