7 Blessings…
So on Sunday afternoon I had such a great opportunity to take some pictures of six sisters and their mother (they hadn’t had a professional photo taken in over 30 years). When Judy, the youngest sister, contacted me to ask if I would take their pictures I got pretty excited because she had 5 sisters and that doesn’t happen too often. Usually when I do a photo session my mom, who is also a photographer, doesn’t come with me; however I had asked her to come this time because I thought it was going to be a lot of fun! And it was, we had a blast! These ladies were such a blessing to my mom and I. They were cracking jokes left and right; it was easy to tell that they were very close sisters. By the time we left I felt like we were all best friends.
It is so cool how God allows our paths to cross with certain people. Throughout the photoshoot we had discovered that they too were Christians; so my mom told me that I should give each one of them a prayer card and ask them to keep me in their prayers. When we were done taking photos I handed each one of them my prayer card and then we all held hands and they prayed for me. They even donated towards my trip! I am amazed at how God continues to bless and encourage me. I love how one second you don’t really know someone and then you find out that they are your sister in Christ and you have that automatic bond because of Him. So awesome! God is good!
