“Will you pray for this woman’s brother? He is sick.”
…those were the last words I heard just before volunteering to enter into THIS hut with 2 other teammates. We found the man laying on a hand-sewn blanket with lips quivering and whole body shaking. The translator accompanying us explained to the man what we were there for. He nodded his head in agreement.
We laid hands on his back, and asked the Lord for complete healing in Jesus’ name.
When we finished praying, he looked up and spoke to the translator. The translator told us that the man felt “fire in his feet” as we prayed over him! We all smiled and told them about the Holy Spirit and the healing power of God. Before we left the hut, the man was feeling much better.
Guys, this is what our FIRST day of ministry looked like in Zimbabwe! I’m already seriously amazed by the glorious works God is doing here.
“And this is the confidence that we have towards Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14-15
