Hello friends! This is just a short note to let you know that I have officially met my first deadline of $3500!!! And about a month early too! Praise the Lord for His provision!! God is good! Right now I have $3,586.76 in my world race account. Thank you to all of my supporters for helping to make this possible! I pray that God will bless you abundantly for all you have done for me. To God be the glory!
Soooooooo, now that we can cross deadline #1 off the list, it's time to move on to deadline # 2!!!!
My next deadline is due June 16th and it is for the amount of $6,500. My goal is to have met this deadline by my 25th birthday, which is May 13th. I know this is early, but my God is a God who provides for His people and I know that He can do this!!! I want to share with you a brief testimony of one of my squad mates, Ricci. You can check out her full story here. She spoke at a friend of her mom's church this past weekend. She received some donations afterwards from people, but then the missionary commtitee approached her. They told her that they wanted to supply the additional money she needed to be fully funded AND THEN THEY HANDED HER A CHECK FOR $12,000!!!!!!!!! PRAISE GOD FOR HIS PROVISION!!
It's miracle moments like this that I am believing God for! Maybe I'll get one big check from someone, or maybe I'll get a lot of little checks from a lot of people. I don't know, but I do know that God works out all things for the good of those who love him and that His timing is perfect! So I give praise to my Daddy for providing so wonderfully for my girl Ricci and I give Him praise for the ways He is going to continue to provide for me! I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I WILL BE FULLY FUNDED!!!!
I had the opportunity to speak at a church this past weekend with a friend of mine, Alicia, who is another missionary in the making. She is going to serve in the Czech Republic for two years. This was the first time I have shared at a church other than my own and I was nervous. But I am so glad that I was able to share with Alicia. She had experience speaking in front of other churches and showed me what that looks like. She gave me ideas on how to give a better presentation and how to physically represent my trip. She inspired me, so today I worked on a display board to help give a visual for all that the World Race is about. TA DAAAAAAA!!!!!
God has blessed me abundantly this past week! God is good and continues to provide. May He provide for all your needs this day, whether it be physical, spiritual, or emotional. Keep an eye out for my next update! I'm expecting God to show up in MIGHTY ways!!! 🙂
