It’s a beautiful day, the sky is grey, and I don’t have to be at work yet.
I’m sitting here, watching Legally Blonde and working on getting a Kickstarter up and running. And that’s not even the best part!
The best part is that I’ve gotten myself out of this funk, where I feel like I’m not worthy to go on this Race anymore, where I feel I don’t belong.
I’ve spent the past day getting to know my squad mates, especially my sisters in Christ. The first step for me getting invested in this new route is getting invested in the people, and I’ve discovered they are silly, confident, curious, and beautiful women after my own heart and humour. The guys aren’t so bad, either. XD
I’ve been able to geek out about Narnia (Thanks, Kelsey!), talk tattoos, express fears and concerns with people who are going through the same thing, crack jokes, and just feel at home.
