Hello! My name is Kayla Dellinger and I am 22 years old. I am a senior at Charleston Southern University. I am a Nursing major and I hope to be a Registered Nurse in just a few short months! I love hiking; I think pickles are the best food ever invented, and I love superhero movies.
I have the best family, friends, and boyfriend that a girl could ever ask for. God has truly blessed me in so many ways; I can’t even recount all of His goodness towards me. I play guitar, violin, cello, bass, and a little piano. (I clearly love music! Haha!)
A little bit more about me is that I love being a worship pastor at my Church. Music has always been a huge part of my life, so the fact that it gets to be a way that I can minister to the Lord and offer Him praise and worship just makes it even sweeter.
But the most important thing that I would want you to know about me is that I LOVE JESUS. He is so faithful, loving, merciful, gracious, kind, humble, obedient, and selfless. Knowing Jesus has been the best part of my life. I can’t talk about myself without talking about Jesus because His life has become mine. As Galatians 2:20 says, I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” I want to share Jesus with anyone and everyone I can.
Because having a relationship with Jesus is like being in love for the first time. You are so captivated by Him, in awe of Him, and so in love with His heart and who He is that you can’t help but talk about Him with anyone who’s willing to listen. Only He loves you with a love that will never fade or cease. Therefore, I am going on the World Race to do just that. I want to tell people about the restorative love and grace that is found only in Jesus. I want to be a light in a dark world.
