Dear Family & Friends,
I am so excited to inform you of the next steps of my life! I have been accepted into the World Race, a missions program that will take my squad and I to 11 countries in 11 months beginning in January of 2016!
After a lot of time and prayer, I applied for the World Race’s newest route: The Expedition Route. This route serves in the 10/40 Window – a rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East & Asia approximately between 10° north & 40° north latitude. It is often called “The Resistant Belt” and includes the majority of the world’s Muslims, Hindus, & Buddhists. The countries that my team and I will be visiting are Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Tibet/China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Turkey, Tunisia, & Morocco.
The ministry will vary month to month as we will be serving in partnership with churches, ministering to the local communities, preaching the Gospel, planting churches, working in orphanages, ministering to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human and sex trafficking, all while bringing the restorative hope of The Father’s love to those we come in contact with around the world.
I cannot express the overwhelming happiness in my heart of being accepted onto the World Race! God has been prepping, growing, and teaching me my whole life for this time, right now. I believe with everything in me that this is just the beginning and the next step into the rest of my life. Through all the trials that I have been through, God has given me a grace and love for others that I never thought possible.
It is my hope and prayer that you will join me in this adventure! There are a few things that I need from you. First and foremost is prayer! This is going to be an exciting, hard, crazy, wild, and taxing time mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I ask that you would consider partnering with me in this way. Because of the conditions that my team and I may be living in, I ask that you would pray for strength, peace, and perseverance.
Secondly, because we will be traveling to 11 countries in 11 months, this trip is going to cost a total of $17,562. I must have $4,500 in my fund account by my first deadline of September 25th 2015. The total cost will cover all traveling and field expenses for the duration of my trip. I am fully confident that God called me to this trip, therefore, will provide everything that I need and more. I plan on continuing to work to provide as much funding as I can myself, as well as selling majority of all my belongings to go after what God has called me to. Adventures In Missions is a tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) and is a member of the ECFA. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability). Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in.
