With World Race training camp beginning in just a couple of hours, we want to give a shoutout to all of our supporters who have helped us thus far. Training Camp is a huge deal for us, because all of this is finally seeming VERY REAL.

We still have a lot praying, preparing, and fundraising to do before the World Race begins in January, but for now, we are pleased with the progress made so far, and we are SO pumped for training camp!!

Training camp is a time where we will get specific training for the mission field, along with the different cultures and customs that we will be encountering throughout the next year. It’s also a time where we get to meet our squad (D-Squad!) and really get to know the people we will be living with throughout the upcoming year.

Are we nervous?

Kind of.

Will training camp be hard?

At times.

Are we super duper excited and jumping for joy right now?

Maybe just a little.

Despite all the emotions and excitement, and nervousness, and curiosity about what these next few weeks (and the upcoming year) will hold…there’s just this really awesome overwhelming peace about it all.

It kind of brings this verse to mind:

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.

We know that through it all, God’s got us. He will provide and He will direct us.

We have each other to hold onto , and we also have this CRAZY AWESOME support group of friends and family members. (thanks guys;)

We know that some of you have had questions about the World Race:

What is it?

Why are we going?

Where are we going?

Is it safe?

How will it affect our marriage?

What will our day to day look like?

GOOD NEWS! We packed it all into this video right here for your viewing pleasure:)
