This blog is going to be a little different than our normal ones. Ethiopia was full of incredible sights and unforgettable people. If a pictures worth a thousand words then we have a volumes posted below. Our hope is that these shots give you insight into what our month in Ethiopia looked like.

Earlier we said a picture’s worth a thousand words. And if that’s true, then what’s a video worth? I believe video brings an even greater depth to the story that a picture can tell. This blog is a place where Katherine and I have an opportunity to connect you to the work that God is doing worldwide in the places we venture, and that’s a privilege we don’t want to overlook.

As you probably know, I (Kaydan) have been making videos throughout our time on the World Race. Some of them are serious, some of them are lighthearted, but they all are made to give you insight into what our lives are like on the mission field, where we are traveling and what we are experiencing, and most importantly what The Lord is doing in us and around us.

During our time in Ethiopia I decided to start making daily videos. A (somewhat) Daily Vlog if you will. I’m aiming for shorter, more frequent videos that better depict what day-to-day life is like for us—the people, the places, the food, the ministry, all of it! It’s something I really enjoyed doing in Ethiopia this past month, and I am continuing to do right now in Rwanda.

If you’d like to see those videos, the first one is being released TODAY on the YouTube channel. You can check it out below. We are going to continue to keep posting blogs and pictures, but one of the best ways to engage with us and what we are doing on the day-to-day is by watching the daily videos and leaving thoughts, comments, or prayers. If you don’t want to comment publicly, feel free to email us! We just want to hear from you and show you what God is doing in our life. Thanks again for reading all this, for being invested in us and what God is doing in our lives. We appreciate it so very much!
