For the Love of God
a guest blog written by the sister of one amazing woman, Miss Kaycie O’Neil.
For the love of God
1. used to express annoyance, surprise, or urgent pleading. “for the love of God, get me out of here!”
An expression I have used many times before, but today I use it to refer to a certain girl on a certain mission.
Kaycie O’Neil – a missionary, a visionary, and an inspiration to us all.. for the love of God.
If you know me, you know that I do not consider myself a religious person. I have my beliefs but I do not identify with Christianity or any other organized religion. My sister and I were raised by the same parents, under the same roof, with the same freedom to discover our own beliefs. It was not a rule in our home that we go to church or read the bible, and so it amazes me that somewhere along the line Kaycie found her faith all on her own. It baffles me that as a young teenager, she chose to be baptized in the name of Jesus, and since then has continued to grow her faith and explore her calling as a missionary.
Kaycie and I do not share the same faith, but I don’t need to believe in the same God she does in order to believe in what she is doing and what she stands for. She has a fiery passion to help this world become a better place, and I want to do whatever it takes to help her do that. You want to travel the world to serve underprivileged countries you say? So be it! You want to spread the gospel and overwhelm people with love and compassion you say? Go do that!
In a world that is so riddled with hate and tragedy, I encourage all of us to join hands and love each other. And regardless of our beliefs or religion, let us support these racers as they move to make a positive change in this world!

Keep your behavior positive

Keep your habits positive

Keep your values positive
because your values become your destiny.

Haiti Update
Kaycie and her J Squad are currently in Montrouis, Haiti where their ministry is working on several projects – teaching/tutoring children at the orphanage, farming a small plot of land and building cabinets for the orphanage. They will soon start work on a water project that will bring water to an entire community that is currently sharing one well.
Kaycie says the children are simply amazing despite what they have been through and she is falling in love with them.

Thank you, J Sqaud, for sharing your big hearts with this beautiful community of people!
