This month, Team God’s Magnolias was blessed to serve alongside of Team Deep Wells in Mozambique. The experience gave me a whole new perspective of community. This month couldn’t have been possible without each and every person on our “team.” Over the course of the month, our two teams began to not only operate as one unit, but as one community and one family. Each person in our family has their own strengths and I would like to help highlight those today through this blog…

Alisha. Our team leader – she is our lioness she protects us and leads us with beauty and grace.

Rebecca. She is our voice of reason – she gives us guidance through logic and her saucy personality.

Becky. She is our lighthouse – she reflects God’s light in all circumstances through joy and laughter.

Katie Anderson. She is our watch “wo”man – silently she watches over our team and through her gentle spirit she brings humor and wisdom in exactly the right moments.

Ariane. The Defender of Our Church – she is wise beyond her years and brings years of spiritual abundance and knowledge through grace and discernment.

Bill. He is the dad of our team (jokes and all) – He is always there to take us to the hospital, shepherd us or simply lead our team with passion.

Baileigh. She is our Thor and we are her Avengers – she lives life with humility, serving those on her team with genuine Christ-like love and her spunky tenacity.

Tyler. He is our caretaker – He is headstrong, stoic and genuine in the good times and the bad. Oh, and he makes sure we have clean drinking water at all times.

Jackie. Our mighty warrior – Her strength comes from within and radiates outward. She holds us accountable and lifts us up when we are down.

Levi. The modern day Steve Irwin – he has no fear and always seeks adventure with a young, spunky spirit.

Katy Michael. Beauty and grace – I have watched her grow so much in the past month. She is truly transforming into a Proverbs 31 Woman.

Tabitha. She is our Queen – Her beauty and confidence calls others to lead a life of transparency through inner strength and self awareness.

Kevin. Our macaroni & cheese, the comfort food when you’re having a bad day – He is always ready with truth and insight that shoot straight into your soul.

I love you all so much & it was a blessing to serve alongside of you Month 1!

Love,

Kace
