This is the training center where the women work, the children’s corner is, the ping pong tables, and where my team lives with 3.2.

This is inside one of the kid’s houses that was decorated for Christmas. There are balloons, streamers, Christmas trees made out of Sprite bottles, and pine all over the floors to decorate. Ethiopia celebrates Christmas January 7 and 8. Fun Fact: Ethiopia uses a different calendar so it’s actually 2012 here!!

Dereck is another one of our preschoolers. He’s a spirited one but I love his constant singing and facial expressions! 
This is my little man! For a craft we made an origami whale together! 
This is the kid‘s corner where we spend most of our time with the preschoolers. In this picture we were reading the Creation story and later made origami animals together! 
On New Year’s Eve we had afternoon ministry off and we had a volleyball tournament. My team got 1st place!!

Mango took us into the village to a local coffee shop. It was the strongest cup of coffee I’ve ever had but it kept me going the whole day!

This was my football team, The Little Jesus‘. On Christmas Day we had a powderpuff tournament and it was the highlight of my Christmas!
