Crazy! Month 11 has already arrived! I think back to Ireland,
my first month, and I cannot believe how fast these 11 months have gone! Well
it is here. Right now. Cambodia. In a primitive setting. Month 11. Final month
before heading home.

This month we will be splitting our time between teaching
English and doing manual labor at a church. This morning, my team and I spent
about 2 hours hoeing away brush and cleaning around trees. Then, in the
afternoon, I helped teach a class of about 10 students English.

We are living about an hour and a half from the city. We are
near a remote village, but are living in a house in the country. There are cows
that roam around freely and chickens that peck away right outside our doorstep.
The stars are super bright, because there is no light out here. We are blessed!
I LOVE IT! Never thought you would hear me saying that, huh? I actually love
being removed from everything: removed from the internet (we had to drive into
the city to get internet), removed from the busyness of life, removed from the
lights, noise, and pollution.

Out here the stars are beautiful. I get to lie in my hammock
reading every night. I can hear the crickets and frogs and whatever else is
clucking away in the moonlight. The sunsets are gorgeous! This last month I want
to pour in every ounce of God’s love. We are living the simple life out here in
the middle of nowhere, but I wouldn’t change a thing! The food is amazing!
Company is great! God’s love and beauty is all around us! Month
11….Cambodia…..bring it! I am ready!
