Our original route had us serving in Russia for this past
month. When they told us where we were going, most people said, “Transnistria-what?”
We did not know where Moldova was, let alone Transnistria, but we knew that
this was where God wanted us to be…so we went.

This past month, we have been helping out with a number of
different ESL classes and doing ministry in the park. The whole time, I felt
that it was nice but I still wasn’t sure why we came to Transnistria, which
isn’t even a country that is recognized by the rest of the world.

I have figured it out. Even though we had no clue where any
of these places were….God did. Coincidence? I think not! God loves the people
here just as much as anywhere! God orchestrated us being here even if it was to
connect with one person.

After going through this whole month, on the second to last
day of ministry, it all made sense. There was a distinct purpose that our whole
ministry was rerouted to Transnistria. We have been able to minister to many
people here and the people here are hungry for the truth. Personally, I met two
young boys that just needed to hear and feel God’s love. Also, we met a young
man named Dima, who attended our afternoon English conversation classes in the
park. God began to work in his heart and yesterday he prayed and could feel God’s
love in him.  We had the
opportunity to take him out to dinner and hear his story….

We will be traveling to Bucharest, Romania to spend a couple
days in debrief before we fly out to Kenya on October 1st. Please
keep our squad, team, and myself in your prayers. I am still in need of $700
before October 1st. If you could give anything it would be greatly
appreciated! Thanks for all of your prayers!
