Over the past month, I’ve seen people I’ve barely spoken to take a leap of faith in supporting me for my trip. I’ve had strangers write me checks, give me equipment advice, and pray for me. I’ve had people younger than me step up and ask how they could help. I’ve had fundraiser events presented to me by people I’ve never spoken to or who I haven’t seen in years. I’ve had local businesses volunteer fundraisers that they would like to host. To you all, I say thank you.
THANK YOU. To the countless customers I meet who are willing to set aside five minutes of their shopping to ask me about my trip. To the customers who tell me what equipment worked best for them.To the customer who left $20 for me after hearing my story from my boss. To the customers who share their own stories. To the customer who shared his giant story of following God’s plan for him when it was easy as well as hard.
THANK YOU. To my family. To those of you who, even though this is something you would never do yourself, have enough faith in me to poor out the support. To those of you who hate the idea of this trip and me going on it, but choose to stand firmly behind my decision. To those of you who give generously. To those of you who pray constantly. To those of you who push me to do something like this because I’ve seen you live out God’s plan for you daily.
THANK YOU. To my friends. To the sisters who have shown almost {almost :)} the same level of excitement at the thought of this trip as I have. To the ones who have shared every blog post, every status. To the friends who bought a shirt. To the ones who claimed a jar. To the ones who seek out ways to help me with this crazy journey. To the ones who pray whole-heartedly for me. To the ones who send me random texts just to check on things. To the ones who listen to me vent about money or equipment or whatever else has manifested itself at the time.
THANK YOU. To my church fam. To my small group. To FSM. To my fellow leaders. To the lunch dates, prayer requests, and constant uplifting words you offer me.

THANK YOU. To those who remind me that DAILY we wake up and decide whether or not today will be a day where we trust God. Whether or not today will be a day we trust his plan for us. Thank you for reminding me and showing me over and over again what Faith truly takes. What it looks like.
