Well, I’ve made it to Côte d’Ivoir, Africa and it is a completely different world than South America was. We are leaving tomorrow morning to head to our ministry in Bouake, a city in the north. We are going to be spending the month evangelising to truck drivers. I heard this and it intimidated me more than I’d like to admit. I have not evangelized before. This is a huge reason I came on the world race though.
we did a practice run today and it was scary at first, but it got easier after a few people: We went and shared the gospel with them and we had more than 15 men accept Jesus into their hearts this morning in my small group of three alone! Its beautiful to see God working here and I am looking forward to this month and all it has to offer. Many of these men have never been told the gospel in this way. They know all about the Old Testament, but the good news that is Jesus and his redemption on the cross has never reached their ears. We get to be the vessels that share it with them and that is a huge honor and blessing.
