Dear Romania,

We had a love hate relationship, but the more I look back on my time with you, the more I appreciate everything you taught me.

You taught me that my value is not dependent on a title and that my roles are not because of not being qualified.

You showed me that random skills I have picked up over the years can help to bring the kingdom further.

You taught me that the term family doesn’t just mean your blood relatives and that its okay to let other people love you like family.

You taught me the severity of spiritual climates and how praying against the enemy can change your experience drastically.

You showed me what feedback can accomplish and how holding things in can ruin relationships.

You let me be a part of something beautiful through organizing and putting in PVT and even though I couldn’t foresee the Race after you because of how incredibly hard my time was with you, I can now look back with fondness and say thank you.

I never thought I would say this, but I’ll be back someday Romania.

Love ya,
Katy May
