Team Anathallo update:
A week into our first month and I have already seen my team come together as a unit. We all have a desire for growth which is all I hoped! Through that we have made a point that we are a family and through grace, encouragement and honesty we would hold each other accountable. Love my team, love seeing them step into what God has for them!
First, we are BOSS at crossing the heavily trafficked streets of Cambodia, it’s all about command, false confidence and the hand up… Andddd praying “dear lord help them have fast reflexes to dodge me. Amen”
Second, I ate a fish eye. Well I swallowed it whole once I felt the eye socket.
Ministry update:
We are serving along side Cornerstone organization. Pastor Rogil and his wife, Janice are pretty much the sweetest couple on the planet. Their vision for Cambodia and to eventually spread to Indo-China is one straight from the Lord. Please pray for another full time staff member to help them with their ministry in Kampong Chnnang, as well as $1,600 for a shelter there.
Half of us are teaching the children by the railroad English, Bible time stories and obviously some crazy games. The other half is teaching English to University students and building relationships with them. In the later afternoon we walk around the university campus and just start conversations with students. Little difficult with some language barriers, but God works through that. Next week we are spending time in the village. We can’t wait to go back! (The mushrooms from there are probably the best mushrooms that have graced my mouth)
Story:
This is Gerra. He is deaf and mute and lives by the railroad tracks. He gets very frustrated when he can’t communicate with others. Gerra stole our team’s heart. I only know some words and the alphabet in sign language, so we get a little time each day practicing together. He’s pretty much a genius, and is such a helper. I may put him in my bag and take him… Can I do that? Anyways, we are praying healing over him, because God has something in store for this little guy. Pray for him!

(me and Gerra)

Prayer request:
1) Money for Cornerstone’s ministry site in the village
2) a full time staff member for Cornerstone
3) Enthusiasm to teach English haha
4) For my sweat glands not to hate me in this humidity. Guys.. I don’t stop sweating – like ever. Buckets and buckets ~ Lord help me.
Love you all!
