hey friends and family
This month we are in Penang, Malaysia working at a Drop in Center where we spend the day feeding the homeless and scraping off paint from 100 year old walls. I absolutely love this culture of mixed nations. They are all so welcoming and all know english!!-which makes relationship building wonderful :]
^^ here is where we are staying :] our little island is full of street vendors and shops full of junk calling my name^^
But lets back up a little bit. Last month was super great for team Dove’s Eyes. One of the most memorable moments for me was to be a part of my teammate Alison’s baptism. Here is her experience from my point of view :]

annnd meet my new team!
our team leader, Courtney, was made squad leader (woooo!! that’s my girl!) and we gained two men- Charles and Mark. Both wonderful!!! This month is going to be awesome.
