This month has been quite the interesting one. We came into this country thinking we could continue what we have been doing for the past 3 months. We came on this trip to share His love. That is the greatest commandment.

Our host wasn’t with us when we ran our first night of class night one. My team and I shared this great love we have all been captured by. We were made to reflect the first time we got ‘that book’ and we shared our hearts.

Our host asked how the night went and we told him the stories and the laughs we shared with the people who showed up and he was amazed. ” WOW you guys are so brave.” What we did that night was something that was not allowed because of the country we were in.

We now understood. For people to know and feel this Love that all of my team feels, it would take some bravery from us.

Last night was one of my favorite nights. We had team time and my teammate decided to tell her testimony. She had been sick ALL day and honestly I was concerned that it might not be the best idea for her to share that night.

Silly me.

We invited the same people who came to our English class that first night and I just watched. I watched her story capture the hearts of everyone sitting in that circle.

This is why we are here. This is why we left family. This is why we left our lives in the States, for these moments. For these people.

I know that most of you only see pictures of my off days *recently* and those days are beautiful don’t get me wrong. We get the chance to explore Abba’s creation, but I would do anything for you all to see what He is doing behind the scenes. How He is moving. How His love is breaking through the hardened hearts of those around us (including ours).

Some of these stories I can’t wait to share with you all. How I witnessed God’s favor first hand. How I fell in love with so many people here, but until then just know that big things are happening here and I am so so grateful that I get to serve God this way.
