This morning I woke up like usual to get ready for my student teaching, like usual I checked my support account, expecting to see a number close to what it was the day before, ($976), which is a long ways away from the $6,500 deadline I set for myself, so that I could be fully funded by launch in January.
This morning was different though, I logged on to my account to find I had $4359.10 in my account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked to say the least, I scanned down the list to see how in the world that my account jumped that much overnight, and was beyond blessed to see the donations from friends and family that have supported me so far, but also to see the word Anonymous next to a VERY large donation. I REALLY want to thank you, whoever you are, because God is working through you! I am praying blessings over you.
You have made one Full-Time student teacher soon to be world traveling missionary feel like The World Race is REALLY going to happen! I have now passed the AIM's required $3,500 by October 1st and am now $2140.90 away from meeting my personal $6,500 deadline!
In all honesty, I didn't think I would make my goal of $6,500 by October 1st, after all it was only 16 days away and I was still a long ways away from meeting AIM's deadline. But now I know it is possible to meet that goal! I wasn't exactly doubting God would take care of it, and me, but I wasn't fully believing that it could be done. But this morning I was reminded that God is in control, and with HIm all things are possible, even meeting a large financial deadline.
Now for the rest of the day I will be trying to contain my glee, trying not to just randomly squeal as I think about how God is working through all of you and in me, and how He is paving the way for me in this specific mission field, as I finish my last day of volunteer time in the classroom, before I start counting my hours for OSU, next Monday.
