Meet My Team!

When I landed in Atlanta for training camp I met 53 strangers who quickly became family. Over the next ten days we worshipped together, prayed together, danced together, cried together, and laughed so hard my cheeks hurt. Our incredible training team watched our interactions and prayerfully placed us into teams for ministry.

So I am excited to introduce you to the six wonderful humans I have the privilege of doing life with for the first few months of the World Race.

Together we make up Septum Parabalani, which means seven reckless ones. We chose this name because the parabalani were a group of people who reached the unreachable. It is our prayer that as a team we live radically for the sake of the Gospel, bringing the love of Christ and the hope of salvation to everyone we meet!

As you continue to pray for our team, here are some specific requests we have. Please pray for:

  • Team Unity. That as a team we would keep God at the center and be able to accomplish the work He has for us. (Ephesians 4:3)
  • The freedom to be vulnerable with each other.
  • The knowledge and understanding that our identities are rooted in Christ and the confidence to live our lives in this truth and share it openly with those we meet.
  • Strength and perseverance to complete the work He has called us to do.
  • That we will be filled with the Holy Spirit—Boldness in evangelism (Acts 1:8)
  • That we love each other, and those we meet well—that our love for one another is rooted in Christ and is a reflection of His love.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and encouragement. Launch is just over a week away!
