I’m sitting in the airport in Houston, Texas and I am beyond excited. It is so crazy to think that in just a few hours I will be landing in Ecuador to begin my first month of ministry.
The road up to this point has been a rough one. Just in the past five days I have been reunited with my team and squad mates. I have said goodbye to my family and friends. And, I have flown in a plane for the first time ever!
Through this season of emotional highs and lows, the presence of The Father has been overwhelmingly evidenT. At one of my lowest points of fear and frustration, as a cried out to Him, my Good Good Fathear confirmed His love for me yet again. He gave me scripture that has been my theme during this difficult time, and I’m sure will continue to be my theme throughout this trip.
For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Isaiah 41:13
He has promised to hold my hand and walk with me every step of the way. But, more than that, He has gone before me. He has already overcome death, hell, and the grave.
I am ready to partner with Him on this journey!
