I cannot believe it have only been a week since I left PA and headed to Georgia. What an adventure.
My team is an all girl team and God truly placed each one of them here and in my life for a purpose. We all clicked right away and serving along side them has been such a blessing. Each of them has something to special to give. I cannot wait to see how God continues to use us in the next coming weeks.
Traveling to Thailand was long and exhausting but also very exciting and fun. We arrived here at 1 am on Wednesday to a very hot and humid night. Jet lag was real but I think I am used to Thai time now.
We stayed in Bangkok and learned about the Thai culture, the country is mostly Buddhist, only 1% of the country is Christian. There are Buddhist temples, monks, and shrines everywhere, they are beautiful, but it breaks my it also breaks my heart.
On Thursday we arrived in Ratchaburi, where we will be staying until the end of the month. We met our missionary hosts and on Friday began ministry by going on the radio, and in the evening leading a kids program called rice seeds. There were about 15 kids from ages 3-18. It was an amazing night, we taught them the kids song father Abraham ( they laughed all the way through the motion, but they loved it.) and one of my team mates shared with the older ones about “counting it all joy” the kids were so precious and live in a community close by and play in a park there after school most days. We are hoping to get to go hang out with them there.
This coming week we will be teaching English to middle schoolers, and doing some things with the local community.
Thank you all for your prayers!
