Hi! Katie here. Many of you probably know me fairly well, but I want to give y’all the inside scoop on who I am. And really I just want to thank you for being here.
I’m 23 years old and currently live in Kansas City, Missouri. I love my job, my roommates and my life here, but God has told me it’s time for a change (aka The World Race). I’m from the great state of Kentucky but have lived in Missouri for some time now (can I get a M I Z?!). I’m passionate about people, languages and traveling and you can probably find me writing, reading, doing a crossword, sitting on a rooftop, drinking an iced vanilla latte or watching The Office. Or doing all of those things at the same time.
This blog is intended to document the happenings of my life before, during and after the World Race. I’m immeasurably excited to experience new cultures, meet new people and do whatever work is needed of me. I’m excited for the many stories to come and the feelings that’ll tag along with em.
