Lately I have been asking God to reveal to me who He is, and on Monday, this is what He showed me!
Ann, the lady from Ann’s Children’s Home (talked about in my last blog), is an INCREDIBLE woman! She is a complete firecracker and runs her ministry wonderfully.
On Monday we visited her home again. I wasn’t helping out and playing with the other kids at the home, instead, I helped Ann take a 17 month old boy to the doctor (his skin was not in good condition whatsoever and he needed medical attention). When I returned from the doctor, and we all left Ann’s Children’s Home, some of the girls were telling me what I had missed. Among other things, someone mentioned that the older individuals that live there (some are in their late teens and twenties) were being disrespectful to the girls and even somewhat mean. The girls told me that apparently this is a normal thing (obviously, our girl’s teams only saw a small glimpse of this and it doesn’t necessarily effect us because we aren’t in charge of them and only visit occasionally). They continued to say that no matter how poorly they behave or badly they treat the other kids or the people that work there, Ann never makes them leave, and legally cannot kick them out.
Ann rescues these kids at all different ages, takes them in, provides everything for them, there is never a way for them to pay her back or give her anything in return, and often, they don’t treat her with any respect, and cause a great amount of trouble for her. But she still continues to stand by and never leaves them stranded and alone.
LITERALLY A DIRECT PARALLEL TO GOD!! He chooses us before we were in the womb, shows up everyday, patiently waits on us constantly, provides everything good we could desire, and we disobey Him, ignore Him, try to run from Him, and so on. No matter how horribly we continue to treat Him, He is always standing there with open arms, never forsaking us, forgetting us, or giving up on us.

Side note…. I still need lots of help for fundraising!! Please pray about it, tell your family to pray about it, and your friends!!! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog this week, I hope you are all healthy and doing well!!
