Hi, faithful follower!
I hope you are doing well. Trust me, I know it’s been quite some time since hearing from me on my blog. However, I need to tell you something very exciting (if you haven’t heard yet, that is.) Perhaps you noticed that my fundraising bar is running again. That’s because I’m going back to the (international) mission field in August as an alumni leader with a new World Race squad!
This will be a bit of a different position than just a ‘racer’ in World Race terms. The focus is still sharing Jesus with the world in every way possible, but additionally I will be responsible for helping facilitate growth in new missionaries through their World Race, and helping them cultivate culture within their squad. The Race is as much a missions trip as it is a discipleship program. As a world race alum, I have much to bring to the table for this new wave of fellow young, fiery missionaries who are jumping into a year of personal growth and gospel spreading.
I will join the squad for their first five months, fly home, then go back to join them 1 to 2 times during their later months. This is going to be such an exciting time and I cannot wait to journey back out into the vast world that is crying out to be loved; crying out for Jesus.
With this new trip comes fundraising again. Of course, less time and travel means less funds to raise. My goal is $6500 for this five months plus the two additional short trips. I would love it so much if you partnered with me again financially, prayed with/for me, and stood beside me during this next journey. $3,500 is due by January 2019, $5,000 by May 2019, and final of $6,500 by July 2019.

I’m so thrilled that this is happening! It sounded crazy when God spoke to me back in October about applying for alumni leadership. I didn’t take the jump until January, and last month I was officially accepted to lead. I don’t know yet where I will be going or the exact dates I will be gone, but I promise to update here as soon as I do!
The first two weeks in June I will be going to Georgia for leadership training, and to also help train the group of Racers I will be with for the five months that I will be overseas. Please keep me in your prayers during that time, and feel free to share encouraging words with me as well! Maybe God has something for you to tell me. He still speaks, and it is his voice that I am following to the ends of the earth, loving whoever comes along my path.
