This page is just to tell you a little bit more about me and why I’m doing this! My name’s Katie Mulry, and I just graduated high school in Richardson, Texas. In the fall I’ll be studying aerospace engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.

I live with my two amazing parents who have brought me up in the faith as well as my two younger sisters, Caroline and Colleen. Caroline just finished her freshman year of high school and Colleen finished third grade, and I love both of them so so much. I’m incredibly blessed with a family who loves Christ and who first taught me to love Him as well. I also have a beautiful “family” with my youth group at church. I’ve been an active participant in youth ministry there for all of high school and have grown so much in my faith on our retreats and at conferences! So many people have been there supporting me as I’ve grown in my relationship with God and they were so important in helping me determine that going on this mission trip is God’s next step for me!

Some other amazing groups in my life are my orchestra (I play cello), my cross country team, and my physics class at school! I actually love studying and school, and I can’t wait to follow God’s call for me in college next year studying aerospace engineering! I enjoy creative writing and arts and crafts. I love drinking coffee, seeing the sunrise, and learning more about God, myself, and others. I’m so incredibly thrilled to serve God’s Kingdom this summer in Thailand and cannot wait to see where He leads me!
