As the clocks turned to midnight and the year changed to 2014, it carried a bigger significance to me than most years. I’ve known for the last seven months that January meant it was time to leave again. to move on to the next adventure God has planned. At midnight, it became much more real.

I am moving.

On January 11th, I will board my first plane of several that will take me to my new home, Gainesville, Georgia.

While in Gainesville, I will be an apprentice in the Center for Global Action, a program launched my Adventures for World Race alumni to discover the calling God has placed on their life and then to put it into action. I have no idea where this will all take me, and its rather exciting!

There are several different tracks you can take part in, and I have chosen the worship track. The focus of the worship track is cultivating a lifestyle of worship. While I was on the Race, God really began to develop in me a heart for worship, and I am so excited to see how He will grow that over the next several months! The fall worship track, which recently concluded, was able to go into the studio and record some songs, one of which can be downloaded for free here

I will also be spending time daily working in the Adventures offices, taking part in launching thousands of missionaries around the world. I served as a finance leader on the Race for 8 months, and got a small glimpse at all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. My time as an apprentice will give me the opportunity to really dive in to the logistics of it all.

I am so stoked to once again be living in a community of kingdom dreamers! I have committed to spend one year at CGA. My program costs for this time commitment are $3,600, which includes my housing costs and a food stipend. Additionally, I will have personal expenses I will have to cover, including my student loans and cell phone bill.

I have spent the last six months working to save up as much money as possible, and have managed to save up enough to cover all of my program expenses plus have some left over for personal expenses. However, if you do feel led to make a donation to my program costs, you can! Simply click on the link on the left hand side of my page that says, ‘Support Me at CGA’ and follow those instructions.

I will continue to blog during my time in Georgia. My personal goal is to blog once a week, and I hope I can manage to do that. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected].

Thank you all for your continued support over the last two years and into the future! It has been such a blessing to me!
