Hey friends! I’m sooo excited to finally be writing my first blog post! Writing is sort of out of my comfort zone, but I want to get better at expressing myself so here we go!
In January of this year, I learned about the World Race, I was immediately interested in joining because helping people is my hearts desire and I just so happen to love traveling the world. Since I‘ve commited to the World Race in February I have been learning a lot about myself, my strengths, my weaknesses, I have been through some challenging situations that have tested me. I’ve learned what obedience to the Lord looks like and how painful it can be even if it‘s the right thing to do and most of all I have learned to lean on God in every situation and to listen to Him no matter what.
Now that we are getting so close to training camp, my heart is full of anticipation. Although I may not be fully prepared for the race, I am so ready to get out there and see what the Lord has in store for me and my team. I can’t wait to make new friends in 11 countries. I’m ready to get uncomfortable, I’m ready to fully put my trust in the Lord.
