In the spirit of 11, I decided to write my about me with 11 fun facts about me! So here we go!
1. My Name is Katherine Nicole Kastl, but I go by Katie!
2. I grew up in Choctaw, Oklahoma, a smallish town 20 minutes east of Oklahoma City.
3. I LOVE all things Oklahoma, especially the Thunder!
4. I am awful at sports, but I just really love them. My favorite baseball team is the New York Mets; basically, I live all of baseball season in constant heartbreak.
5. I will graduate in December with my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from the University of Central Oklahoma. Central has been my home these last four years, and I would not want it any other way.
6. I joined a sorority in college, and I never expected to gain the friendships, and discipleship I did. Delta Zeta changed my life, for sure.
7. I was saved when I 14 in the back of a Falls Creek cabin on the last night of camp. I have had my ups and downs, but today I am fully committed to following God’s will for my life.
8. My mom has very easily become my best friend, greatest supporter, and shoulder to cry on.
9. I go to First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park, and I could not have asked to grow up in a better church. My church family gave me some of my best friends, greatest supporters, and an incredible place to grow and learn.
10. My favorite food is by far popcorn. I frequently eat it for meals. lol
11. My all-time favorite verse is Deuteronomy 31:6- “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord Your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
