The other day my sister sent this song to me called ” Back To God” and the lyrics to the song are:

Going on the World Race, I’m about to see my dream come true of being a short-term missionary and doing the calling that God has laid on my heart. The song ‘Back to God’ just shows what life is all about.
Just like in Matthew 18:20 it says, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”?? If we desire to reach people,prayer is essential because without prayer our words fall flat; we as humans can’t do what only Jesus can do. And He can do those things through us if we position our hearts to hear from Him and we are willing to be used as vessels by God.

People are hurting all over and a big part of it is because people don’t know Christ and His love for all of us. They also don’t know His ability to take away the pain for all of us.
The song says “Oh have you turned away when you see the innocent dying?”
We can’t just run away; people need help because those people are seriously hurting. We are so ungrateful for everything we get. But there are people in the world that don’t have what we have, and they’re more grateful than we are. They appreciate what they have when we just complain or want more. I challenge all of us to stop and look around at all those people who are hurting.

As humans we should all be able to agree to at least one of these. For myself I can say yes to all, but that’s me. I want you to be able to understand the pain of the people that I’ll be going out to reach. It’s not easy leaving your family, friends, your job, and many other things behind for 9 months. People say I’m crazy but I’m not, I’m only crazy for God. What He has placed on my heart for the next fall. Life isn’t always going to be easy but when you have Christ it will be a little bit better. That’s what I want to do for others. I’m going make sure that their needs are put before mine. I would like to be a good example of Jesus to the hurting people so that they could see just a glimpse of His love. That’s why the t-shirts I’m selling say “One body, One soul, It matters”
It matters because everyone matters to God and we are called to a higher standard to be more and more like Jesus everyday. It matters that people will be reached no matter where I go but that people will see the love of Christ coming from me and His good news. Jesus came to save people for their eternal life. Their life should matter so much more than mine. It’s crazy to think about the people who I don’t know and that their life should matter so much more than mine.
God has called me to go. Not just to go but to go and love on people! Go and give parts of my heart that would take forever to give away. God has called me to go and give it away to the lost!
People matter to Jesus,
