My friend going on the race that Is also from Nebraska just a different route said this and I Agree. “leave America in just 40 days for my 9-month mission trip. As I think about that my heart skips a beat and my mind floods with excitement. I feel extremely blessed by this magnificent opportunity and everything I have already received from it. Through this next year of my life I will learn how to truly live away from home, how to make my own decisions, how to pursue Gods calling on my life, how to fully surrender, how to give up control, how to live in true community day in and day out, how to give everything 100% of the time, how to live with a broken heart, how to see hard things and know I can’t fix or help everyone, how to walk away or how to walk into hard situations, and how to truly live the life God has called me to live and to be. I already feel the weight of the situations I will be walking into in the slums of India, the brokenness of Nepal, the shattered spirits of Lesotho, the fear of Swaziland, the poorness of Nicaragua, and the lost souls in Guatemala. This is going to be the coolest journey and opportunity but also the hardest. I am so ready. I am ready to be moved and used. Be praying for my amazing squad of 51 and team of 6. Some are still fundraising, we all are preparing emotionally and spiritually. ” – Courty Jackson

So in 40 short days I will be leaving for Atlanta, Georgia to launch onto the mission field. At this very, moment I am 54% funded. The Lord has provided $8,100 in support since February of 2017, which means I only need 6,851.

I believe that I will be fully funded by the day I launch on September 8, 2017.

I have no idea how this is possible, but the Lord has asked me to step out in my faith and believe in what seems impossible. I can’t do this without your help.

Here are some things to consider before giving:
1) If you are able to financially support me, please pray and ask the Lord if this ministry is where he needs you to put your resources.

If he leads elsewhere, great! Your prayers are SO appreciated. Spiritual support is just as important and impactful as financial support!

2) Know that if you donate to my World Race you are directly impacting the expansion of the Kingdom of God.

I am going to be doing ministry with some absolutely amazing people, and God is going to work through us to bring people to him. We do not know what specific type of ministry we will be doing in each country, but I can assure you that whatever it may be – it will always point people towards Jesus.

3) This is a journey for you as well.

I know that might sound weird – just keep reading. Because you are pouring your resources into God’s kingdom, he says you will be blessed.

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-8

I will be sharing what God is doing on the field as much as I possibly can. I pray and hope that through the stories of how God has moved you will know in your heart that this mission’s fruit is because of your faithfulness and obedience to the Lord.

Lastly, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me! Thank you to all the people that have bought a t-shirt! Thank you to the people who helped me get accepted into this program. Thank you to the people who read over my blogs before I post them. Thank you for dealing with the annoying emails and social media posts! Thank you for trusting that God will do something with my 9 months on the field! Thank you for walking with me in this journey and helping me to grow in my relationship with Christ. Thank you for praying for me! So many of you who have supported me in this process are people who have known me at my worst stages in life, and I would just like to thank you for your example. I would not know Christ like I do today if I didn’t have all of you supporting me and showing me the way.
I never can seem to find words that properly express the enormous amount of gratitude I feel towards all of you, but thank you.
