Every Wednesday, we go to the hospital to pray for people and encourage them. We break into small groups and head to different areas of the hospital. This week I was able to go to the burns ward. When we were walking up to the door, there was a girl outside standing with a blanket cover over her. I noticed that her leg was all burned up. From her knee to the bottom of her leg, all you could see was the whiteness of her skin and the red vines popping out. We walked into her room so we could pray for her. When we went inside, our translators wanted to know more about what happened and if there was anywhere else on her body that had gotten burned. She pulled the blanket off and my face dropped. I couldn’t hold myself together. Her arm was all torn up and close to her nipple was torn. Almost her whole body was caught on fire. And my body couldn’t take it. I could physically see the pain that she was in. This little girl is gonna have some crazy scars. But I encouraged her that God is gonna make those scars an amazing story. A testimony that she can share to anyone and everyone she comes in contact with. My heart continues to break for this girl and the pain that she is going though. She just sits and waits for her body to get healed as all her friends and family go on with life with work and school. But this girl is not alone! God’s got her and I am asking you to join with me to pray for her body to get healed, and that she wouldn’t be in any more pain. Thank you.
