India. What a place.
I knew I’d love it, but my love for this country exceeds that.
We flew into Hyderabad a little over 10 days ago, and immediately I had culture shock. So many people, so many cars, so many buildings in one small area. I LOVE IT. The people here are so sweet, and the Tuk Tuk rides (a small, clown looking car that is the local transportation) are so much fun!!! After a few days spent there, mine and 3 other teams headed to a city in southern India. Our building is so awesome, it has 3 stories and an amazing rooftop (perfect for sunset watching).
Almost every day we go to different communities and talk to different families about their lives. We’re working for a new program that wants us to collect family’s stories, and that eventually leading to the children in that family’s education being sponsored. Every family that we’ve met has been so incredible. They’re so hospitable and serving. They fill us up with food and other goodies (especially chai). Speaking of food, Indian food is so amazing and now my fave type of food!!!! So yummy, every meal.
Other than that, where we are staying has a ton of room to be alone, which is awesome. Because from the World Race, I’ve learned that I’m an extrovert, but sometimes I need my alone time, which I don’t ever realize till its a little too late :-). But since being able to have this awesome alone time, I’ve been able to realize when I need to just go up on the roof and be alone with God.
Every day here is a dream. It’s so different than anything I’ve ever experienced and I’m in love with that. So thankful.

I have a ton of prayer requests!!!
First off, please pray for all of the squad on any temptation that might distract them from why we’re here. There are many other demons here that could distract us from why we’re here.
Pray for my heart as I’m really going to try and have that alone time with the Lord, and really try and understand the Lord’s heart.
Also, huge request, I’m trying to give everything to God and not worry about money, but that’s really hard. I still need $4,000 in about a month to say on the race. I’m so full of fear that it won’t come. Please pray that fear would leave my thoughts, and I would know fully that the Lord will provide.
And again, a huge thank you so much for supporting me. You’re awesome.
