This month we are staying at the AIM ministry base in Cambodia. It is called the Overflow Guest House. We were excited when we found out that we would be doing ministry here this month. It is no coincidence that our team and our ministry house have the same name!
UnSung Heroes is our ministry for the month! This means that we will be going out into the city and finding contacts for future World Racers and other programs within AIM. We also got to meet and spend time with the team of long term AIM missionaries that are living here in Cambodia.
In addition to Unsung Heroes, we will be working on projects here at the guest house. We will be washing and prepping walls for paint, cleaning, and loving the staff well. I got to serve for a few hours this morning by helping the guest house kitchen staff with breakfast. It was a great opportunity for me to get to know some of the people staying at Overflow House. Plus, I got to practice my Khmer with the kitchen staff!
Please for our team and the city of Siem Reap throughout the month. Pray that the Holy Spirit would lead us and highlight specific people/places for us to contact and that we would build lasting relationships.
Also, I ate a tarantula.
