How’s Guatemala? Honestly, I’m thriving!! I’m LOVING squad leading and I love this little town I’ve been in for the past three weeks!

I just wanted to share some pictures and short stories from my time here in Chicaman, Guatemala!
We had a 7 hour drive to get to our lovely little town surrounded by Mayan Indigenous villages.

It has quickly become one of my favorite places in the world. The whole town is less than a mile wide so we walk basically everywhere.

I absolutely love going to the market where we may not easily find things like cheese or Starbucks but we have more than enough to keep our bellies full. We’ve also found a lot of ways to be creative with our meals and even discovered some new veggies we‘ve never had before!

On my birthday we went to a village to attend one of their church services! We all loved it and I even got to speak to them about following the plans of God!

We got to help with an intimacy conference for pastors from 23 of the villages around us! We helped serve communion to them one day and learned that it was some of their first time ever taking it!

The team I’m with right now is incredible! They love so well and it is an honor to serve and disciple them! Also our hosts in this location are an absolute dream! They love the Lord and do such a great job of serving and listening to Him!

As a team we’ve all been praying that God would give us dreams while we sleep! It’s cool to see how He answers our prayers! Our host‘s five year old daughter has dreams about Jesus and prayed over me one day to also have dreams about Him! It was adorable and I actually had a dream that God used to speak to me that very night!

Like I said, so far Guatemala has been so amazing! Tomorrow I travel to a new team so I will be leaving this town and host for another that is about 3 hours away. I will for sure miss this place but I’m excited to see and pour into more of my squad and do ministry with them! I honestly don’t know if I will ever have the chance to come back here but I will always remember this place as one that was constantly life giving!
