Though I still have a couple of weeks left, I decided to take the time to reflect on moments during the Race where I felt the most alive. The moments when chills would run like a lightning bolt through my body or when happiness and laughter was too much too handle. Hope you enjoy!

  • Eating some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in Haiti on my birthday after weeks of eating the same meals everyday.
  • Standing under the waterfall in the Dominican Republic and feeling the heaviness of the water rush over me.
  • Looking out at the lush scenery of the Dominican Republic for the first time.
  • Dancing with the kids in the pouring rain on our last night in India.
  • Waking up to breathtaking mountain view on our trek in Nepal
  • Kayaking to the middle of a lake in Nepal and singing worship songs
  • Flying in and out of the clouds to Malaysia during the night and being able to see the night sky and the lights of boats in the water below. It was like the sky and water were reflecting each other.
  • Walking the streets and trying new foods during the Malaysia cultural festival
  • Catching fish with local fishermen at Turtle beach and watching the sun go down.
  • Driving in the back countries with the windows down
  • Taking Thai boxing classes in Thailand
  • Early morning dirt road runs in the Dominican Republic and Rwanda.
  • Any dance party ever…
  • The Ethiopian night sky
  • Going on a safari in Uganda

The memories are endless but these are definitely some of my favorites! Thanks for taking the time to read.
