Below is a list of 10 silly struggles I have faced as a World Racer so far. I hope you get a laugh!
- Becoming a back sleeper because your sweaty thighs are too sticky from the heat to sleep on your side
- Dousing yourself in bug spay immediately after you shower because the bugs are swarming
- Taking a gentle laxative because you haven’t pooped in weeks and then finding out the laxative wasn’t gentle at all
- Waking up after sleeping in the airport and being surrounded by travelers starring at you
- Hand washing your clothes only to have them dry moldy because…tropical climates
- Having to switch languages every month and catching yourself trying to use each interchangeably
- Having to check your sleeping bag every night before bed because your haunted by the image of the critters you’ve encountered
- Having to stand on top of the toilet to ensure you make it into the hole and don’t pee on yourself
- Thinking you’re going to loose weight on the World Race only to find out your new diet consists of carbs, carbs, and more carbs (because of our limited budget)
- Trying to fundraise while on the mission field ahh!! But for real! I have a month and a half left before my final fundraising deadline is due and I still have $4,316 left to raise. If you are willing and able to donate towards my World Race I would be eternally grateful for your support. My journey has just begun and I am excited to see how the Lord will continue to use me to build His Kingdom.
Thank you for your continued support! Please let me know how I can be praying for you! 🙂
