This month in India, our team, Chasing Daisies, has partnered with Jireh Children’s Home in Bangalore. The founders, Morong and Sendmi Khaling, desire to share the love of Jesus Christ while providing educational opportunities for children who may not otherwise receive it. Our hearts have been touched by their ministry and the children here. Though we are leaving in one short week, our team is praying to raise support for this ministry that continues to change so many livesnot only in their home, but in the surrounding community.

Upon our arrival to the children’s home, our host’s laptop was stolen. This device not only provided the software necessary for their printing company that is used to support the children, but also contained 14 years of important information. This information included: child history documentation needed to submit to the government, plans for a future boys and girls home project, as well as pictures and personal memories were all lost.

In addition to this, the family is two months behind in their rent and are anxious about their children’s school admission fees. It is our deepest prayer that you will partner with us in helping our dear friends purchase a new laptop and provide the necessary funding to catch up on past due bills and to send these precious children to school.

From our research, we’ve discovered that a new HP laptop will range from $600-$800 USD. While one child’s yearly admission cost ranges from $150 to $720 USD. Therefore, we are prayerfully asking for $1,500 to cover some of these expenses.
