I have finally made it to launch. The day that I thought would never come, but came too quickly at the same time. I am currently in Washington D.C. with the rest of my squad. We will be staying here until Friday when we leave for Ecuador at 3:30PM with a layover in Panama! Ahhhhhh, I can’t believe it’s really here.
These past weeks have been crazy busy, trying to get all the last minute errands finished(which I’m sure that I have forgotten some), trying to see and spend time with as many friends and family as I could, and at the very last, packing. I should have started packing a lot sooner than I did, but unfortunately being the procrastinator that I am, I waited until 2 days before I had to leave to start. Even with the procrastination, my bag checked in at 35lbs! That’s actually really light compared to everyone else’s. So I’m kind of proud of myselfJ. Now let’s just hope that I remembered everything.
