I haven’t had time to write a real blog but I
wanted to give a quick update.
This past week I have:

Arrived in Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Celebrated my 26th birthday by:
Eating 26 (mini) birthday pancakes thanks to my amazing team. Thanks
Patty for making them J
Birthday Cupcakes by our contact when we arrived
Watching a water light show and dancing on the boardwalk
·
Been overloaded and overwhelmed with information
about apartheid. It ended 19 years ago but the effects of it are still being seen today.
·
Started ministry at the Human Dignity Center in
Walmer township- it’s a primary school for children in crisis. A ‘township’ is
where blacks and colored people were forced to move during apartheid. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any pictures of ministry last week but they will be coming soon.
