Hey Everyone!
It’s been a while, So I wanted to update you all on how I’m doing, and what’s going on with my trip!
Update #1: I am officially 75% funded!! Which is HUGE!! It has been amazing to see how God moves and provides! Praise Jesus!
Update #2: I have definitely grown more confident in my faith, in how I see things, and how I see myself. Knowing that God is providing and doing things beyond what I thought were possible, just for me to go and share His good news. To know that He wants to use me, even when I fail. It is the biggest privilege of my entire life. I have also seen myself change from being a girl who trusted her parents to take care of her and really never had to worry about money at all. To a girl who has a job, and is saving money, and having to do paper work and phone calls (and phone calls are intimidating!). I have seen how much God loves me. And that He made me just the way He wants me to be.
Update #3: I have almost all my gear!! I put some pictures below to show you all! There was so much more gear to get than I ever imagined. And packing it all into my gigantic bag is almost impossible. It doesn’t help that I’ve never been a light packer either… (Side note, I also got all my shots and meds that I need! And yes my arm was sore)
Update #4: I have been SO touched by everyone who has given me gifts, donations, pictures from throughout the years, prayers, and encouragement. I have been in tears so many times the past month or two because everyone has been so supportive, and given me so many heart-felt gifts. I am so thankful for each and everyone of you! It means more to me than most of you will ever know! Thank you.
Update #5: I graduated, so that’s a plus.
(But seriously, I want to thank my mom for getting me through school. She home schooled me all the way, and I’m not going to lie, it was probably hard for her. So thank you Mom! I love you!)
Update #6: I leave for Training camp in 27 days!!!!!! At training camp I will be put on a team of 5-7 people who I will be mainly working with. Many racers refer to this team as their family for the year! I will also find out what day in September I will be leaving (It will be either the 5th or 6th) and what country I will be going to first!
Lastly, I just wanted to ask you all to please continue to keep me in your prayers. I know God is going to do some big things on this trip, and I want as much prayer power as possible! Thank you!!!
