My name is Katie Windlinx, I am about to be 22 years old and have served God since I was five years old. The past couple of years I have went to school and am one step away from being a minister through the Assemblies of God. Both of my parents are pastors and I have been blessed to be raised in a Christian home.
I love the Lord with all of my heart and have a huge passion to reach the lost. I have been on several Missions trips, and cannot express the fulfillment I have felt while on each one of them!
While at times I am a little nervous leaving on them, coming home always seems to be the hard part. It amazes me each time how quickly you can fall in love with people God brings us to reach. My heart wants to stay each time or bring them all back with me – a bitter sweet feeling each trip. I am more convinced each time, this is what God is calling me to do with my life!
These past few months I have felt the Lord really lead me to pursue this next Missions trip, World Race, and while I believe it is going to really stretch me in so many ways ( I am a little bit of a girlie girl ) ok a whole lot! But I know that God is going with me and I know it will be life changing for us as we are reaching out to others.
I truly believe God has given us all the job to go unto all the world and share with others, the God I know and how they can know him also.
While your life may not allow you to leave your city, there are ways you can be used on this trip!
HOW CAN GOD USE YOU…
Please consider partnering with me through prayer and support, This is a way you can plant a seed through me, any lives that we are able to reach through this trip, are lives you are investing in!You and I will lay our heads down tonight and go to sleep peacefully, but there are children as young as 7 that will be beaten and sold for sex many times tonight as we sleep
WHAT I NEED……I am trusting God, I know that many of us are stretched. I humbly ask that you consider supporting me on this adventure. I must raise $7,400 for my trip. $3,000 of what I need is due by July 1st. There are several ways in which you can help me. Monthly pledges for the duration of the mission or a lump sum. No gift is too small and I am grateful for anything that you can do. Please do not feel obligated. I must admit thus far the toughest part has been to ask anyone for financial support, my prayer as you are reading this is that God would lay it on your heart to invest in helping me touch the lives of these young people that are being sold everyday of their lives. I look forward to sharing my adventure with you once I return.
