So we all made it to Romania in one piece. Everyones bag arrived with us. When I saw my bag come out I cried. But that is not the most amazing thing that happened on out travel day…
About a year ago the doctor found a crack in a bone in my right foot, right behind my big toe. I have been in casts, boots, and physical therapy. None of this stuff worked and the doctor told me that the only option I had was surgery. I have opted out of the surgery for a long time because of many different reasons in the past and especially now because of being on the Race. I have just dealt with the pain but was still never able really bend or flex my big toe.
We were all sitting at the gate waiting to board the plane and I was talking with Erin and Casey about our months and they were explaining some of the healing that they had seen this past month. Then the next thing that I know I am sitting in a chair with 5 girls surrounding me, laying hands on my foot, and praying for healing. My entire leg felt like it weighed 1,000 lbs. and then the praying stopped and I could move my entire foot and all of my toes!!! It is amazing!!
I feel like God has done so much in my life these past few weeks and months and the healing of my foot, I believe was representing the healing that I needed in my life and finally putting a close to the unrest that I have had with the healing. I am not surprised with the healing because I know that my God is a faithful and great God that takes care of my every need. But I am grateful and amazed at His wonder.
Please continue to pray for and support Team Benkadi as we travel to Moldova on the 3rd of September. We will be taking a train over night. We will be working with Team Beautiful Feet in Moldova. We are all excited to get to our next ministry site and get to work. All my love.
