   I just wanted to update everyone on a couple of things that have happened between the last newsletter and now.  By the way if you are reading this and haven’t gotten my newletter/postcard please email me your address at [email protected] and you will get the next one that goes out.  My first update is that I have gotten back in touch with my dad.  Praise God! It has been a while since I have talked to him and we are making plans to get together before I leave.  The second update is that I am almost at the halfway point in the fund raising department.  If God has put it on your heart to help me out, please click the Support Me botton to the left of this page or mail in a check to Adventure in Missions PO BOX 534470 Gainesville, GA 30353-4470 with my name in the memo line.  The third update is the yard sale this past weekend went great!!!  And the most important update..drum roll please……ITS OFFICIAL!!! WE ARE LEAVING ON AUGUST 9TH OUT OF JFK AIRPORT!!! I am so excited and so is the rest Team Benkadi!!  Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me through prayer and financial support.  God is truely doing a work in my heart.  He is preparing me for this journey a little more everyday.
