My name is Katie and I’m a dreamer.
A daydreamer. A Kingdom dreamer.
I absolutely loveee dreams.
I mean think about it,
You have one wild and precious life,
what will you do with it?
I picture The Lord asking me that each morning I wake up.

This month I have the opportunity to focus on dreams.
My team has UNSUNG HEROES!
Like does Jesus love me or what?
[We will be referring to ourselves this month as… (dun dun dun) The Dream Team].
Unsung Heroes is a month where teams don’t have a specific contact or ministry that they work with, but instead they get the opportunity to work with as many contacts and as many ministries as they can find. More specifically we are focused on finding literal Unsung Heroes. Believers who are bringing Kingdom, regardless of the support they may have or any circumstance that would otherwise hold them back. They are relentless in their pursuit of seeing Kingdom come, and are even more so obedient to the call The Lord has placed in their lives. They are the true dreamers, because they don’t just dream, but they believe in their dreams, and with The Lord, they achieve those dreams.

So here we are, in Nepal.
The top of the world.
The frontier.
An area where there are more unreached people groups than anywhere else in the world.
Unreached. That is never ever having heard the name of Jesus.
Not just people who choose not to go to church, or not read their Bible.
They are the literally unreached,
never having even heard the sweet name of our Savior.
One of the major calls The Lord has commanded of all believers is to reach these unreached.
To go out and spread the good news.
Thankfully that is exactly what we have found in Nepal.
Kingdom is reigning down here.
I have met hero after hero.
Following their dreams, Kingdom dreams.
Dreams given to them by our sweet Savior.
Dreams to reach those unreached.
“It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known,
so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation. Rather, as it is written:
‘Those who were not told about him will see,
and those who have not heard will understand.’”
Romans 15:20-21
This is it.
This is literally it.
This is what dreams are made of,
not to go all Lizzie McGuire on you.
But real talk, there are amazing things going on here.

Heroes, Unsung Heroes.
I have met a man who is not only a pastor, but a father.
Not just a father, but a church planter;
Not only a church planter, but a street evangelist;
Not just a street evangelist, but a disciple;
A disciple who goes to unreached people groups in small Himalayan villages,
who mentors children through sports ministry,
and helps provide educational scholarships for children forced to labor in brick factories,
just so they can provide for their families.
This man is a dreamer, but he is an entrepreneur.
An entrepreneur in the name of The Lord.
I have met a man whose heart was changed by a man just handing him a Bible.
His own curiosity of this “book,” saved his life.
But it not only saved his, but the many lives he has touched since.
As an ex-trekking guide turned pastor this man is bringing some serious Kingdom.
He has dreams of an NGO, a children’s home, and treks to villages.
His heart is for the unreached, and he is relentless in his pursuit.
I have met an organization that is solely focused on reaching the unreached people groups.
Through a children’s home and hygiene educational program they have made relationships.
They are trekking evangelists building relationships with the unreached.
They see the world through the 10/40 window.
66% of the world’s population
90% unreached
and only .004% of the 2-5% of missionaries are going to unreached people groups
This organization is making moves and bringing lost souls home left and right.
Not only are they building relationships, they are equipping the villagers to be self-sustainable.
They take in to account the physical, emotional, and spiritual mindset of these individuals.
They are focused, driven, and fully guided by the Holy Spirit.

So far this month has been inspirational and convicting all at the same time.
To be honest, I absolutely love meeting dreamers for the Kingdom…
But it cuts deep when The Lord reveals how selfish my own motives can be.
When I realize there are so many unreached people groups,
yet my dreams focus solely on what I want to do.
You can’t make your dreams the Lord’s dreams.
Believe me, I’ve tried.
But the most promising thing The Lord has told me on the Race is that,
He has called me to dream.
He has called me to go.
He called me to this Race,
He will call me to more.
And He chose me for such a time as this.
So how much better then are His dreams for me?
To have been thought about by Him,
born in His own thoughts,
and then made by Him…
What on this earth could be better than His dreams?
I challenge us all to dream those Kingdom dreams.
I have already started and I promise it is worth it.
The feeling of knowing you are chosen,
set apart, for a more divine purpose,
by the God of all creation.
And then furthermore He wants to give you His dreams.
This is exactly what I want to do with my one wild and precious life.
