To think this is only month one, literally blows my mind right now.
God is at work, He is doing BIG things, great things…
not just here in Thailand, but in my squad, in my team, and even me personally.
Thailand is absolutely changing my life. If I could leave it at that I would;but I won't.
So here comes the word vomit, again. Prepare yourselves.
I've learned to not limit God, even when you think He's done, he's not.
He is never done. That is a promise in Philippians 1:6.
"…He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Maybe you should read that one more time. Or even more so, start in verse 3.
"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
like woahhhhh. This could not be more real right now, than any other point in my life.
Our ministry this month is the slums, but more importantly it's kids.
My team, HOLLAlujah, literally gets to love on kids.
Now to be completely honest, everyone thought they were going to get bar ministry.
So my first reaction was like wait, what? Slums? Kids?
Don't get me wrong, I loveee kids. If you know me, you know this.
But why would you not want to help get women out of sex trafficking?
The funny thing is The Lord never intended for me to .
He had bigger, and better plans all along. He ALWAYS does.
Thank goodness for His plans.
The slums have literally stolen my heart.
These kids.
The raunchy sewage smell.
The smiles on pretty little faces.
The dirt…everywhere.
The little hands always wanting to hold yours.
The rainy walks back.
The language of futbol.
The laughter.
The hand blown kisses goodbye.
The friendships.
The innocence.
The love. Man, is there love.

And then to go from the slums to the night market…
And love on more kids?
Please and thank you.
These kids are so full of life in a city that is so dark.
They are still innocent and blinded by the sin of this city.
They are the hope of Thailand.
They are the future of this city,
and I thank God for allowing me the opportunity to invest in them.
"He took a little child and had him stand among them.
Taking him in his arms, he said to them,
'Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name
welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me
but the one who sent me.'"Mark 9:36-37
This is why I'm in Thailand.
To love, and be loved.
By kids, by God, and ultimately by Thailand.
The people here are full of love.
They just find love in all the wrong places.
In shrines.
In sex.
In money.
In business.
and ultimately in Idolatry.
Pray for these people. But pray for their hearts. For their love.
They need Jesus. They need HIS love.
