Hello everyone!
For those of you who know me – You KNOW that it takes me a long time to come to a final decision. I have been praying and thinking and journaling and praying and thinking about whether or not to ACTUALLY take this leap of faith. And guess what – I’m doing it!
In October of 2016, I will be starting my journey on The World Race.
What is the World Race?
It is a journey to 11 countries in 11 months to serve “the least of these” while amongst real and raw community.This unique mission trip is a challenging adventure for young adults to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that it’s not about you; it’s about the Kingdom. It facilitates discipleship through the process of discovering into the abundant life He promised. It births partnerships with ministries around the world.
What countries will you be traveling to?
There are several different routes that teams are traveling on. The trip I am a part of includes the following countries:
- Costa Rica
- Nicaragua
- Honduras
- Guatemala
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- Cambodia
- Philippines
- Rwanda
- Kenya
- Uganda
How can I be a part of your trip?
I’m so glad you asked! MAN, I need a lot of prayer. I’m praying that God will prepare my heart, give me the ability to listen to HIS voice, provide financial needs, etc. I know not everyone has the opportunity to go on a trip like this – and I hope you can all live vicariously through me! Please join me on this journey! I am already so beyond thankful for the ways that God has provided, and the incredible support I have received through you all. God is good!
